PRP Facial is:

How does PRP Facial works?
Our PRP Facial is available through Trifecta Med Spa in NYC and Long Island.
For the safe and rapid collection of autologous PRP, we use a small amount of your own blood followed by an infusion of PRP and chosen subjectable by micro-needling device into the skin.
PRP works, because the plasma and platelets are the components of blood that are full of growth factors, nutrients, and proteins. Platelet-Rich Plasma, the liquid that contains platelets, is yellowish and separated from whole blood by centrifuging the whole blood until it separates out from the rest of the blood components, such as red blood cells. This PRP is then injected with micro needling device into specific areas of the skin.
The PRP then acts as a scaffolding on which your body will grow collagen naturally. It also regenerates tissue, which speeds up your skin’s repair process. This typically results in a thicker dermis, with softer fine lines and wrinkles, less scarring and improved skin tone.
How long does the procedure take?
The entire procedure takes about 60-90 minutes to perform.
How many treatments do I need?
The number of procedures needed depends on each individual patient, the patient’s desired results and individual treatment plan. As a standalone therapy, it is usually recommended a series of three treatment sessions is usually recommended, performed from 4 to 5 weeks apart for best results.
For deeper wrinkles or other age signs 6-8 treatments may be necessary to achieve optimal results.
Is the PRP Facial procedure painful?
There may be some minor level of discomfort during the procedure and some redness immediately following the treatment that goes away 2-3 hours after the treatment.
